BUTLER COUNTY, IOWA -- U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) will hold a town meeting in Corydon on August 10 as part of his annual 99 county meetings.
“Representative government is a two-way street, and it requires continued dialogue between elected officials and the people we represent. I look forward to being in Wayne County to listen to Iowans’ comments and concerns and respond directly to their questions,” Grassley said.
This is Grassley’s 43rd consecutive year holding meetings in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties. He has held at least one meeting with Iowans in every county, every year since he was first elected to the U.S. Senate. During each meeting, Grassley takes questions or comments on any subject. Iowans set the agenda.
