WASHINGTON — Senator Chuck Grassley today said that cities across Iowa will receive $15,190,311 from the Department of Housing and Urban Development in addition to the $46.6 million announced earlier today. The funding comes from the 2009 Recovery Act Capital Fund Formula Program and the Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Program.
"These funds will help provide modern and safe housing options for Iowans across the state," Grassley said.
The Capital Fund Awards will provide funds to public housing agencies to provide capital and management activities, including modernization and development of public housing.
