WASHINGTON- Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Rural Development has awarded a $110,000 grant and a $33,000 loan to Eastern Iowa Regional Utility Services System in
Dubuque through the Water and Waste Disposal Loan and Grant program.
The funds will be used to construct a well and water distribution system for
Andover . The system will serve 48 users.
“The development of safe water distribution services is important in rural
Iowa . This funding will help better serve people in Andover who will use the system,” Grassley said.
The Water and Waste Disposal Loan and Grant program provides assistance to construct, extend or improve water and waste disposal systems in rural areas and towns.
