Grassley: $199,875 for Goodwill Industries of Central Iowa from U.S. Department of Labor

WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the Department of Labor awarded a grant of $199,875 to Goodwill Industries of Central Iowa through the Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program.

 

“These funds will provide a hand up to those brave men and women who have served our country and have fallen on hard times,” Grassley said.

 

The Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program expedites the reintegration of homeless veterans by placing them in meaningful employment in the labor force through job counseling, resume preparation and job development and placement.
