Grassley: $250,000 to Sioux City from the U.S. Department of Transportation

WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley announced today that the U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded a grant of $250,000 to Sioux City.

"This grant will benefit the residents of Sioux City, especially those with disabilities," Grassley said.

Sioux City will use the grant funds to purchase one 35-foot low floor, heavy-duty, ADA accessible bus for replacement. The grant funds will affect public transit service in Woodbury County in Iowa, Union County in South Dakota, and Dakota County in Nebraska.
