Grassley: $3 Million to Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division

WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley announced today that the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, has awarded a $3 million grant to Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division. 

 

“These funds will help Iowa continue to recover from the disasters. The quicker the funds get to Iowans to help with economic recovery, the better,” Grassley said.

 

The funds will be used to help develop a flood recovery strategy focusing on assessing damage and speeding economic recovery efforts to eastern Iowa communities that were severely impacted by the recent Midwest disasters.
