The project descriptions follow:
Alta Vista ? $454,000 water and waste disposal loan and grant ($242,0000 loan/$212,000 grant). Funds will be used for the construction of a wastewater treatment facility. The loan portion will have a 40-year repayment period at an interest rate of 4.5 percent.
Central Iowa Water Association - Newton ? $2,750,000 water and waste disposal loans. This funding will be used for the construction of a water transmission main from Marshalltown to Monroe. The loan will have a 40-year repayment period and an interest rate of 5.12 percent.
Central Iowa Water Association - Newton ? $2,000,000 water and waste disposal loan and grant ($1,550,000 in loans/$450,000 grant). Funds will be used for the construction of a water distribution system for rural residents in southern Butler County. The loans will have a 40-year repayment period and an interest rate of 4.75 percent.
Central Iowa Water Association - Newton ? $710,000 water and waste disposal loan and grant ($244,000 loan/$466,000 grant). This funding will support the construction of a water distribution system for rural users and the City of Greeley. The loan portion will have a 40-year repayment period and an interest rate of 4.5 percent.
Central Iowa Water Association - Newton ? $5,000,000 waste and water disposal loan and grant ($3,000,000 loan/$2,000,000 grant). Funds will be used for the construction of a water treatment plant in Bremer County. The loan portion will have a 40-year repayment period and an interest rate of 4.75 percent.
Central Iowa Water Association - Newton ? $968,800 water and waste disposal loan and grant ($242,200 loan/$726,600 grant). Funding will be used for the construction of a water distribution system for rural users and the cities of Aurora and Stanley. The loan portion will have a $40-year repayment period and an interest rate of 4.5 percent.
Page 1 Rural Water District - Oskaloosa ? $1,900,000 water and waste disposal loan and grant ($1,386,000 loan/$514,000 grant). Funds will be used for a new well and expansion of the existing rural water system in Montgomery County. The loan portion will have a 40-year repayment period and an interest rate of 4.75 percent.
Poweshiek Water Association - Brooklyn ? $3,600,000 water and waste disposal loan. Funds will be used for the construction of water distribution lines in Lenox and Washington Townships in Iowa County, Eldorado and Florence Townships in Benton County and Monroe Township in Johnson County. The project will also include construction of an elevated tower in Benton County. The loan will have a 40-year repayment period and an interest rate of 5.12 percent.
Regional Water, Inc. - Avoca ? $755,000 water and waste disposal loan ($430,000 loan/$325,000 grant). Funding will be used for the construction of an elevated storage facility, a booster station, and transmission lines from the existing treatment plant. The loan portion will have a 40-year repayment period and an interest rate of 4.75 percent.
Regional Water, Inc. - Avoca ? $2,474,000 water and waste disposal loan and grant ($1,632,000 loan/$842,000 grant). Funding will be used to construct distribution lines, a booster station, and an elevated tower to serve rural users in southwest Audubon County, the community of Kimballton, and the unincorporated village of Hamlin. The loan portion will have a 40-year repayment period and an interest rate of 4.75 percent.
Southern Iowa Rural Water Association - Creston ? $3,050,000 water and waste disposal loan and grant ($2,088,000 loan/$962,000 grant). Funds will support for the construction of a rural water distribution system in southeaster Cass County. The loan portion will have a 40-year repayment period and an interest rate of 4.75 percent.
Wapello Rural Water Association ? $5,000,000 water and waste disposal loan and grant ($3,000,000 loan/$2,000,000 grant). Funding will support the construction of a new water treatment plant and wellfield on the Skunk River. The loan portion will have a 40-year repayment period and an interest rate of 4.75 percent.
