Reynolds also requested resources from the Public Assistance Program for Adair County, as well as statewide hazard mitigation.

The severe storm event consisted of several large tornadoes, heavy rainfall and flash flooding that resulted in large debris fields, washed out roads and property damages throughout the state. The storms caused massive destruction in Greenfield in Adair County and significant damage in Polk, Story and Montgomery counties. Search and rescue operations are ongoing in Greenfield.
