Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-Iowa), Ashley Hinson (R-Iowa), Zach Nunn (R-Iowa) and Randy Feenstra (R-Iowa), today called on President Joe Biden to approve Governor Kim Reynolds’ disaster declaration request following the June 22, 2024, supercell storms. Preliminary impact reports assessed widespread damage, debris and record flooding across Iowa.

Program-Specific Information:
FEMA’s Individual Assistance Program provides disaster-affected homeowners, renters and businesses access to recovery services, including help with housing, personal property replacement, medical expenses and legal services.
SBA’s Disaster Loan Program allows homeowners, renters, businesses and most nonprofit organizations impacted by disasters to apply for low-interest disaster loans.
FEMA’s Public Assistance Program provides funding to rebuild damaged infrastructure such as roads, bridges, culverts and other public facilities, and covers costs for emergency clean-up efforts.
