WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley announced today that the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has awarded a $1,337,184 grant to Iowa through the State and Community Highway Safety Grant Program.
“These funds will help improve safety on Iowa highways,” Grassley said.
The State and Community Highway Safety Grant Program supports state highway safety programs designed to reduce traffic crashes and resulting deaths, injuries, and property damage.
