WASHINGTON – As part of his annual 99 county meetings across Iowa, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) will hold public town meetings in Holstein on July 18, Greenfield and Earlham on July 19, and Webster City on July 22.

“Representative government relies on open dialogue between elected officials and the people we represent. I welcome the opportunity to meet face-to-face with Iowans in Ida, Adair, Madison and Hamilton counties. Many Iowans have encountered significant challenges as a result of severe weather this year. I look forward to hearing from them and you can be certain I’ll bring their insights back to the policymaking tables in Washington,” Grassley said.

This is Grassley’s 44th consecutive year holding at least one meeting in each of Iowa’s 99 counties. During the meetings, Grassley takes questions or comments on any subject. Iowans set the agenda.

Town meetings are open to the public and the media. Grassley will be available for 15 minutes after each meeting to answer questions from local reporters. Members of the media who wish to attend the town hall or the media availability must RSVP. Please RSVP directly to Hannah_Akey@grassley.senate.gov. Details follow:
