WASHINGTON – As part of his annual 99 county meetings across Iowa, U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) will hold public town meetings in Newton on June 21, Wapello and Fairfield on June 24, Albia on June 25 and Estherville and Sac City on June 26.

“Representative government is a two-way street that requires continued dialogue between election officials and our constituents. I look forward to hearing directly from Iowans in Jasper, Louisa, Jefferson, Monroe, Emmet and Sac counties, as well as responding to any of their questions or concerns,” Grassley said.

This is Grassley’s 44th consecutive year holding at least one meeting in each of Iowa’s 99 counties. During the meetings, Grassley takes questions or comments on any subject. Iowans set the agenda.

Town meetings are open to the public and the media. Grassley will be available for 15 minutes after each meeting to answer questions from local reporters. Members of the media who wish to attend the town hall or the media availability must RSVP. Please RSVP directly to Hannah_Akey@grassley.senate.gov. Details follow:
