Here is information about Senator Grassley’s schedule this week.  The Senate is in session.  

Senator Grassley has met with Iowans in Washington, D.C., from the Iowa State Government of the Student Body and will meet with Iowans in Washington, D.C., from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the School Nutrition Association of Iowa, the Iowa Finance Authority, the Iowa Association of Agriculture Educators, the American Academy of Neurology, the Iowa Veterans of Foreign Wars, the National Kidney Foundation, the University of Dubuque Board of Trustees, the Iowa Sons of AMVETS, the National Association of Convenience Stores, the Iowa Funeral Directors Association, the Mesothelioma Applied Research Symposium on Malignant Mesothelioma, Americans to Protect Family Security Coalition, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the University of Iowa, the Iowa Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Association, Dialysis Patient Citizens, the Iowa Cable Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Iowa Department of Public Health.
 
Senator Grassley will meet with Iowa Career and Technical Education students.  

On Tuesday, March 3, at 9 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley participated in a Finance Committee hearing on “Fairness in Taxation.”

On Tuesday, March 3, at 11 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley attended an address by Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu to a joint session of Congress.  

On Tuesday, March 3 at 6 p.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will attend a reception hosted by Prevent Child Abuse America.  Grassley will receive the 2015 National Leadership Award for his legislative work on child abuse prevention and support of the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting program.

On Wednesday, March 4, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will preside over a Judiciary Committee hearing on “Whistleblower Retaliation at the FBI: Improving Protections and Oversight.”  The hearing follows a GAO report released last week, requested by Grassley, which revealed challenges facing whistleblowers at the FBI.  Last week, Grassley also wrote a letter to FBI Director Comey requesting an explanation regarding three notices from the agency’s independent watchdog about being denied access to records.  Grassley is the chairman of the Senate Whistleblower Protection Caucus.
