WASHINGTON – Senate Budget Committee Ranking Member Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) today welcomed Dr. Michael Castellano, a professor at Iowa State University’s Department of Agronomy, to testify at a hearing on water scarcity.

“Dr. Castellano represented Iowa well today,” Grassley said. “He’s spent years studying sustainable farming and ecosystem management. Iowans know the importance of protecting the viability of America’s agricultural sector and ensuring good stewardship of our land. Dr. Castellano offered valuable, science-based insights as part of today’s discussion in the Budget Committee.”
