Located in the center of our nation’s heartland, Iowa has long been known as an agricultural state serving as the breadbasket to the world. Iowa remains a leader in the agricultural industry, while also offering much more to both Iowans and visitors. From the Missouri to the Mississippi, Iowa showcases beautiful landscapes, popular tourist destinations, historical landmarks, cultural opportunities, and cutting edge business and industry. Iowa’s greatest resource, its generous and hardworking population, makes Iowa a great place to live, work and visit.
Senator Grassley makes it his business to keep in touch with Iowans. As part of that effort, he’s held a meeting in each of Iowa’s 99 counties at least one time every year since he was elected in 1980 to represent Iowa in the United States Senate.
