WASHINGTON - Chuck Grassley today said that the U.S. Department of Labor has released $190,000 to Des Moines Area Community College through the regular appropriations process.
“These funds will help DMACC provide employment training for workers to get them back on their feet and back in the workforce,” Grassley said.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, Des Moines Area Community College will use the money to help provide dislocated workers employment skills’ training that includes resume and behavioral based interviewing training, digital literacy, career readiness certification and GED training.
