WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley announced today that the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration has awarded $350,000 to the Des Moines International Airport. The funds will be used to help bring a runway into compliance with federal standards.
"The federal dollars that are on their way to Des Moines will help improve the safety and service provided by the airport," Grassley said.
