$52,000 to East Central Intergovernmental Association for Economic Development


  

            WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley announced today that the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration, has awarded a grant of $52,000 to East Central Intergovernmental Association for economic development.

 

 “These funds will help East Central Intergovernmental Association provide a comprehensive roadmap to strengthen the regional economy,” Grassley said.

 

East Central Intergovernmental Association will use the funds to establish an economic development planning framework, process and strategy that supports private capital investment and job creation to diversify and strengthen the economy in Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque and Jackson counties.
