WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the Department of Labor has awarded $198,668 to Iowa Workforce Development through Workforce Investment Act National Emergency grant funds.
“These funds will help the workers who lost jobs at Hearth and Home Technologies in Mount Pleasant rejoin the workforce as quickly as possible,” Grassley said.
The funds will be used to help workers from Hearth & Home Technologies in Mount Pleasant have access to dislocated worker services that may not be available through the regular operations of the program.
