WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the Department of Labor has awarded $428,138 to Iowa Workforce Development through Workforce Investment Act National Emergency grant funds.
“These funds will help the workers who lost jobs at Northern Engraving Corporation in Waukon rejoin the workforce as quickly as possible,” Grassley said.
The funds will be used to help workers from Northern Engraving Corporation in Waukon have access to dislocated worker services that may include skills assessment, basic skills training, individual career counseling and occupational skills training.
