BUTLER COUNTY, IOWA – Sen. Chuck Grassley’s (R-Iowa) regional directors based in Cedar Rapids, Sioux City, Davenport, Des Moines and Council Bluffs will hold traveling office hours in 36 counties around Iowa throughout November. Iowans seeking assistance regarding a personal issue with a federal agency or wishing to share concerns on matters of federal policy may stop by during the scheduled hours.
These meetings will follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and the state of Iowa. Participants are encouraged to wear face masks or coverings and are required to follow all social distancing guidelines. Grassley is represented by his regional directors, Jacob Bossman, Rochelle Fuller, Penny Vacek, Donna Barry and Adam DoBraska, and he will not be in attendance.
Grassley’s state offices regularly help constituents contact federal agencies to resolve problems with Social Security payments, military service matters, immigration cases and other issues.
“My top priority is serving the people of Iowa. Traveling office hours is one way of doing that. My staff helps Iowans with issues they may have with the federal government, and I hope anyone experiencing problems will use this resource,” Grassley said.
Due to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, some areas in the state may put in place new meeting requirements or restrictions. Please refer to our website for the most updated information regarding each meeting
