WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Shaun Donovan asking him to quickly approve Iowa's action plan submitted today for the $516.7 million allocation of Community Development Block Grant disaster funding.
"A year later, Iowans hurt by the 2008 floods are still waiting and in need of help," Grassley said. "Quick approval of this plan would be of great assistance."
