WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley said today that Andrew Peterman of Bettendorf has been selected for admission to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, for the 2012-2013 school year.
Peterman is a May 2011 graduate of Bettendorf High School and currently attends Scott Community College. He is the son of Carolyn and George Peterman of Bettendorf.
Peterman was among the Iowans Grassley nominated this year for appointments to the U.S. service academies. Information about seeking nominations is posted at /students/academy-nominations.
