Grassley Comments on EPA’s Decision to Maintain RFS Point of Obligation

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley released the following statement after the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) decision to maintain the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) point of obligation:

 

“This is the right policy conclusion and I’m glad to see it happening. This decision puts the issue to bed, and certainty is so important,” Grassley said. “It’s a decision from the EPA that sides with the integrity of the RFS.”

 

Earlier this year, Senator Grassley led a bipartisan group of senators in a letter urging President Trump to maintain the point of obligation under the RFS and reject proposed changes to the program.
