WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today said that he will visit Des Moines and Waverly December 17-18.
Grassley said these meetings are an important part of how he keeps in touch as he represents Iowa . He has held a meeting in every Iowa county, every year that he's served in the United States Senate.
"These meetings help generate an exchange of ideas that are necessary for representative government," Grassley said. "Visiting with people at businesses, service organizations, town halls and schools gives me the opportunity to have an open and honest dialogue with a wide range of Iowans. I've always found that the best way to work on behalf of Iowans is to maintain a conversation, not only through these face-to-face meetings, but also through email, postal mail and telephone calls."
