WASHINGTON — Senator Chuck Grassley said today that the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Rural Development is awarding a $1.5 million direct loan and a $1,888,342 conditional commitment for a guaranteed loan to Dysart through the Community Facility Guaranteed and Direct Loan program.
The funds will help pay for the construction of a 31 unit assisted living facility in Dysart.
"The new assisted living facility will be a great asset to the Dysart area," Grassley said.
The Community Facility Guaranteed and Direct Loan program makes and guarantees loans to develop essential community facilities in rural areas and towns of up to 20,000 in population.
