Donahue, President & CEO of the Chamber. "Sen. Grassley has the U.S. Chamber of Commerce pro-business seal of approval."

For the first session of the 105th Congress, the Chamber designated 10 Senate "key votes" which would have made a positive impact on U.S. business and commercial activity. "A sound business environment will help keep and create jobs, increase our trading opportunities and help Iowans continue a tradition of economic prosperity," said Grassley.

"For the first time in 30 years, Washington has answered the call for fiscal discipline. That sends the right message to promote domestic and international commerce," he said. Grassley serves as the second most senior member of the Senate Budget Committee.
