WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has released funds totaling $971,732 to Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center in Marshalltown and the Sac & Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Tama. The money was released through the fiscal 2008 congressional appropriations process.
“These funds will help ensure quality health care is provided to Iowans,” Grassley said.
The grant funds from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will be distributed as shown below.
v Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center, in Marshalltown will receive a $379,355 grant for medical imaging equipment.
v Sac & Fox Tribe of the Mississippi, in Tama will receive a $592,377 grant for a tribal health clinic.
