“More than 235 years ago the founders of our country set in motion a great miracle, a document outlining a greater recognition of the unalienable rights and freedoms of each individual than in any country known to mankind. Against all odds, these courageous people set forth a document, clear in its intent, that free and independent states are shaped only by the consent of the governed.
“This Independence Day, let us celebrate the freedoms and liberties that were so bravely attained by our country’s founding. And, let us remind ourselves and be thankful for those who continue to protect the freedoms so prized by the people of the United States of America.”
