Grassley Statement on the Confirmation of Native Iowan Rachel Brand to be Associate Attorney General

WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, made the following statement on the confirmation of Rachel Brand, originally of Pella, to be Associate Attorney General. 

“Ms. Brand will be a superb Associate Attorney General. Iowans can be proud that one of our own will soon be working on behalf of the American people at the highest levels of the U.S. Department of Justice. Her distinguished legal career and impressive educational background will serve the department well and I look forward to working with her in my capacity as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.”
