On Tuesday, May 26, Sen. Grassley will meet with the Kiwanis Club in Denison. The breakfast meeting will begin at 7:00 a.m. at Cronks Restaurant, 812 Fourth Avenue South. Immediately following the meeting, Sen. Grassley will take questions from the media for 15 minutes.
Sen. Grassley's next stop of the day will take place when he visits the Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting. He will tour the assisted living complex and meet with residents from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Once again, Sen. Grassley will be available on site for 15 minutes following the meeting to answer questions from the media. Pleasant View Care Center is located at 200 Shannon Drive in Whiting.
On Tuesday afternoon, Sen. Grassley will visit West Central High School in Stuart for an open forum from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. The address of West Central High School is 1023 North Second Street.
For his next visit on Tuesday, Sen. Grassley will meet with the Adams Community Economic Development Corporation in Corning. The group will meet at the Pavilion in Central Park. He will tour the Main Street area for 40 minutes. Following the tour, Sen. Grassley will participate in a question and answer session at the Pavilion for 20 minutes. Last month, Corning was one of five communities in the nation selected to receive the Great American Main Street Award. From 5:00 to 5:15 p.m., Sen. Grassley will be available to answer questions from the media. In case of rain, the meeting will take place in the City Council Chambers at 601 Sixth Street.
Sen. Grassley's final visit on Tuesday will take place when he meets with the Red OakLions Club. The meeting will take place from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Red Lion Steak House, located at 203 Coolbaugh Street in Red Oak.
On Wednesday, May 27, Sen. Grassley will visit Hamburg Junior-Senior High School for an open forum. He will meet with students from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The school is located at 105 E Street in Hamburg.
From 11:00 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Sen. Grassley will tour NSK Corporation in Clarinda. NSK Corporation, located at 1100 North First Street, manufactures ball bearings. From noon to 12:15 p.m., Sen. Grassley will be available on site to answer questions from the media.
Sen. Grassley will then travel to Taylor County where he will tour Lake of Three Fires State Park in Bedford. He will tour the park from 12:45 until 1:05 p.m., and will then participate in a sack lunch at the Beach Lodge building until 1:45 p.m. Once again, Sen. Grassley will be available on site for questions from the media for 15 minutes following the meeting.
At 2:45 on Wednesday afternoon, Sen. Grassley will hold a Ringgold County town meeting in the Assembly Room of the Ringgold County Courthouse in Mount Ayr. The meeting will conclude at 3:45 p.m., and Sen. Grassley will be available to take questions from the media until 4:00 p.m.
Following his meeting in Mount Ayr, Sen. Grassley will meet with the LamoniDevelopment Corporation from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. at the Lamoni Community Center. Sen. Grassley will answer questions from the media from 5:45 until 6:00 p.m. The Lamoni Community Center is located at 108 South Chestnut in Lamoni.
On Thursday, Sen. Grassley will meet with the Clarke County Optimists from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m., at the American State Bank in Osceola. For 15 minutes after the meeting, Sen. Grassley will answer questions from the media. The American State Bank is located at 1000 Jeffries Drive in Osceola.
