Here is information about Senator Grassley’s schedule this week.  The Senate is in session.  
 
Senator Grassley will meet with Iowans in Washington, D.C., from the Iowa Chapter of Children’s Advocacy Centers, the Iowa Propane Gas Association, the American Association of Orthopaedic Executives, the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s Young Cattlemen’s Conference, and the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association.
 
Senator Grassley will meet with Iowa families from Urbandale, Bondurant, West Des Moines, Altoona, Huxley, Springville, Cedar Falls, Urbandale, Pleasant Hill, and Ankeny.

Senator Grassley will meet with Iowa students from Clear Lake High School, Merrill Middle School in Des Moines, and Iowa 4-H.
 
Senator Grassley will be a guest on public affairs programs hosted by Maxine Sieleman on PRAISE 940 in Des Moines, Jim Turbes on KWBG in Boone, Steve and Dan on WOC/WMT in the Quad Cities, and Captain Steve and Tommy Lang on KCJJ in Iowa City.

On Tuesday, June 3, at 10:30 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a Judiciary Committee hearing on “Examining a Constitutional Amendment to Restore Democracy to the American People.”  Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell are scheduled to testify.

On Wednesday, June 4, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will meet with Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan, who is nominated to be the director of the Office of Management and Budget.

On Wednesday, June 4, at 10:30 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a Judiciary Committee hearing to consider the nominations of Geoffrey W. Crawford to be United States District Judge for the District of Vermont, Nancy B. Firestone to be a Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims, Lydia Kay Griggsby to be a Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims, and Thomas L. Halkowski to be a Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims.
