Here is information about Senator Grassley’s schedule this week. The Senate is in session.
Senator Grassley will meet with Iowans in Washington, D.C., from the National Association of Manufacturers, the Iowa Chapter of Children’s Advocacy Centers, the Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the American Pizza Community, the Dubuque Chamber of Commerce, the Iowa Brewers Guild, and Railroad Day on Capitol Hill.
Senator Grassley will meet with Iowa families from Emmetsburg, Ames, Waukee, Preston, Delmar, Grimes, Waterloo, and Des Moines.
Senator Grassley will meet with Iowa students from Sibley Ocheyeden FFA and Gilbert Middle School.
On Tuesday, June 2, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a Finance Committee hearing on “IRS Data Theft Affecting Taxpayer Information.”
On Wednesday, June 3, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a Finance Committee open executive session to consider the “Audit & Appeal Fairness, Integrity, and Reforms in Medicare Act of 2015.”
On Thursday, June 4, at 9:30 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will preside over the weekly executive business meeting of the Senate Judiciary Committee. The committee will consider S. 1137, PATENT Act sponsored by Sens. Grassley, Patrick Leahy, John Cornyn, Chuck Schumer, Mike Lee, Orrin Hatch, and Amy Klobuchar. The committee will also consider the nominations of Dale A. Drozd to be a United States District Judge for the Eastern District of California, Ann Donnelly to be a United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York, Lawrence J. Vilardo to be a United States District Judge for the Western District of New York, and LaShann DeArcy Hall to be a United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York.
