Senator Grassley will meet with Iowans in Washington, D.C., from Indian Hills Community College, the University of Iowa, Denison Job Corps, the Mercy Health Network and the Catholic Heart Association.
Senator Grassley will meet with Iowa families from Van Meter, Cedar Falls and Coralville.
Senator Grassley will meet with Iowa students visiting Washington, D.C., with the National Council on Youth Leadership. Senator Grassley will also meet with members of the University of Iowa Student Government.
Senator Grassley was a guest on a public affairs program hosted by Captain Steve on KCJJ radio in Iowa City and Cindy Kohlmann on KDTH radio in Dubuque and will be a guest on public affairs programs hosted by Doug Wagner on WMT radio in Cedar Rapids, Steven Boss on KRUU radio in Fairfield, Sean Secrease and Quaid on WTAD radio in Quincy and Fred Hoffman on KCPS radio in Burlington.
On Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 3:45 p.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will present the Tony Goldman Award for Historic Preservation to John and Mary Gronen of Dubuque. The Gronens rehabilitated the CARADCO building in the Millwork District into loft apartments.
On Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will preside over a Judiciary Committee hearing considering the nomination of Stuart F. Delery to be the Associate Attorney General of the United States.
On Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 10:30 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a Budget Committee hearing on “Reforming the Federal Budget Process: A Biennial Approach to Better Budgeting.”
On Thursday, Nov. 5, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will preside over the weekly executive business meeting of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
On Thursday, Nov. 5, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry hearing on “Wildfire: Stakeholder Perspectives on Budgetary Impacts and Threats to Natural Resources on Federal, State and Private Lands.”
