Grassley's Northwest Iowa Regional Director Holds Office Hours
Sen. Chuck Grassley today announced his Northwest Iowa regional director, Marliss DeJong, will hold Listening Posts on Thursday, April 17, in the following communities:</B><P><CENTER>Emmetsburg<BR>Palo Alto County Courthouse<BR>Board of Supervisors room<BR>10:30 - 11:30 a.m.<P>Spencer<BR>City Hall<BR>City Council Chambers<BR>12:30 - 1:30 p.m.<P>Sioux Rapids<BR>City Hall<BR>City Council Chambers<BR>2:00 - 3:00 p.m.<P>Paulina<BR>Paulina Bakery<BR>3:45 - 4:15 p.m.</CENTER><P> "I hope residents will take this opportunity to come and share their views," Grassley said. "My staff regularly holds open office hours in local communities to open the lines of communication between my office and Iowans.<P> "I also encourage those who may need help with any federal agency, such as the Social Security Administration, the Immigration and Naturalization Service or the Department of Veterans Affairs to attend. My office is ready to do everything possible to help."<P> If unable to attend, Grassley encourages residents to stop by his Sioux City office, 103 Federal Building, 320 6th Street, 712/233-1860.<P> Marliss DeJong will also be attending the Northwest Iowa Municipal Meeting on behalf of Sen. Grassley. The meeting will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Legion Hall in Paulina.
