WASHINGTON — Senator Chuck Grassley said today that the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Rural Development is awarding a $120,000 conditional commitment for a guaranteed loan to Krysilis in Forest City through the Community Facility Guaranteed Loan program.
The funds will help purchase the Clarion Vocational Center, a service center of Krysilis, and help finish the addition that is being made to better serve 75 clients in Wright County.
"These guaranteed loans will help Krysilis continue to provide vocational services that help people with disabilities realize a higher level of independence and better quality of life," Grassley said.
The Community Facility Guaranteed Loan program makes and guarantees loans to develop essential community facilities in rural areas and towns of up to 20,000 in population.
