WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley announced today that the U.S. Department of Transportation has released $7,091,000 to the Iowa Department of Transportation.
"These funds will help the Iowa Department of Transportation replace vehicles and security equipment around the state," Grassley said.
The Iowa Department of Transportation will use the money to help purchase 35 replacement vehicles for existing transit rolling stock and surveillance equipment for transit providers throughout Iowa.
