Here is information about Senator Grassley’s schedule this
week. The Senate is in session from October 27-31.
Sen. Grassley will meet with Iowans in Washington,
D.C., from the American Heart Association, the National Association of
Counties’ Intergovernmental Disaster Reform Task Force, the Iowa Farm Bureau,
the Iowa Soybean Association, the American Coalition for Ukraine, the Crop
Insurance and Reinsurance Bureau and the University of Iowa College of
Pharmacy.
Sen. Grassley will meet with students from St. Paul's
Lutheran School in Waverly.
Sen. Grassley will meet with Iowa families visiting
Washington, D.C., from Waverly and Madrid.
Sen. Grassley was or will be on public affairs programs with Jennifer Wilkerson on KCII in Washington and Doug Wagner on WMT/WOC in Cedar Rapids and Davenport.
On Tuesday, October 28, at 10:15 a.m. ET, Sen. Grassley will chair a Judiciary Committee hearing on “Pressure Cooker: Competition Issues in the Seed and Fertilizer Industries.” Iowa witnesses include Noah Coppess of Stanwood and John Latham of Alexander.
On Wednesday, October 29, at 10:00 a.m. ET, Sen. Grassley will attend a Finance Committee hearing on nominations.
On Wednesday, October 29, at 3:00 p.m. ET, Sen. Grassley will attend an Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee hearing on nominations.
On Thursday, October 30, at 10:15 a.m. ET, Sen. Grassley will chair a Senate Judiciary Committee executive business meeting.
