Here is information about Sen. Grassley’s schedule this week. The Senate is in session.

Sen. Grassley was or will be on public affairs programs with Mike Adams on “Adams on Ag” in Dubuque, Sam McIntosh on KCII in Washington and Mark Hahn on KSCJ in Sioux City.  

Sen. Grassley spoke or will speak over the phone with Iowans from the Land Trust Alliance, the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, the National Science Foundation, the Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives, the United Nations Foundation, the Iowa Historic Preservation and Economic Development Advocates, the National Community Pharmacists Association, the Iowa Restaurant Association, the National Association of Secondary School Principals, LeadingAge, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the University of Iowa Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities Program, the Iowa Developmental Disability Council and the Crop Insurance and Reinsurance Bureau.

Sen. Grassley will speak over the phone with Iowa students from Cedar Falls High School’s American Government Class.

On Tuesday, April 20 at 10 a.m. (ET), Sen. Grassley will participate in a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing titled, “Jim Crow 2021: The Latest Assault on the Right to Vote.”

On Tuesday, April 20 at 10 a.m. (ET), Sen. Grassley will participate in a Senate Finance Committee hearing titled, “Combatting Inequality: The Tax Code and Racial, Ethnic, and Gender Disparities.”

On Thursday, April 22 at 9:30 a.m. (ET), Sen. Grassley will participate in a Senate Agriculture Committee hearing on the nomination of Dr. Jewel H. Bronaugh to be Deputy Secretary of Agriculture.

On Thursday, April 22 at 10 a.m. (ET), Sen. Grassley will participate in a Senate Finance Committee hearing titled, “U.S.-China Relations: Improving U.S. Competitiveness.”
