Sen. Grassley will meet with Iowans from the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance, the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce, the Iowa Donor Network, the American College of Physicians Services, the Iowa Edward Jones Grassroots Task Force, the Iowa Firefighters Association, the National Association of Police Organizations, the Iowa State Police Association and FUEL Iowa.
Sen. Grassley will meet with a family from Van Horne.
Sen. Grassley was or will be on public affairs programs with Doug Wagner on WMT in Cedar Rapids and WOC in Davenport, Keith Lundberg on WNAX – Midwest Farm Time, Jeff Stein on KXEL in Waterloo and Chip Flory on Agritalk.
On Tuesday, May 12, at 3 p.m. ET, Sen. Grassley will participate in a Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition & Forestry hearing on “Perspectives on the Fertilizer Industry: Ensuring a Stable and Affordable Supply for American Producers.”
On Wednesday, May 13, at 2:30 p.m. ET, Sen. Grassley will participate in a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Privacy, Technology and the Law hearing on “From the Courtroom to Congress: Why Landmark Social Media Verdicts Demand Federal Action to Protect Kids Online.”
On Thursday, May 14, at 10:15 a.m. ET, Sen. Grassley will chair a Senate Judiciary Committee executive business meeting to consider six pieces of bipartisan legislation to support law enforcement in honor of National Police Week.
