WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today said that the U.S. Department of Education has released $190,000 in congressional directed funds to Briar Cliff University in Sioux City. Congress appropriated the funds through the 2009 Omnibus Appropriations Act.
"These funds will help Briar Cliff University purchase equipment as they renovate and expand Heelan Hall," Grassley said.
Briar Cliff University will use the money to help purchase equipment, including an acquisition of a laboratory, classroom and technology equipment as part of a larger project to renovate and expand Heelan Hall.
