$380,000 Released to Iowa from U.S. Department of Education


WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today said that the U.S. Department of Education has released $380,000 in congressionally directed funds to Iowa.

 

"These funds will help these colleges purchase resources for these projects designed to improve student learning," Grassley said. 

 

The U.S. Department of Education will release the funds as shown below.

 

·        Eastern Iowa Community College in Davenport will receive $285,000 to help design, develop and produce interactive displays and kiosks in the exhibit area of the new Sustainable Energy Center.

·        Waldorf College in Forest City will receive $95,000 to help purchase library materials and equipment relating to teacher-training programs.
