$455,288 to Cedar Falls Community School District


WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today said that the U.S. Department of Education has awarded a $455,288 grant to the Cedar Falls Community School District through the Carol M. White Physical Education program.

 

"These funds will help students in the Cedar Falls Community School District develop healthy habits that they can carry with them throughout their life." Grassley said. 

 

The Carol M. White Physical Education program helps local education agencies and community-based organizations initiate, expand or improve physical education programs, including after-school programs, for students in grades K – 12 that will help students make progress toward meeting state standards for physical education.
