WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded two grants totaling $523,898 to the Iowa Department of Public Health and the University of Iowa.
v The University of Iowa will receive $345,946 to help fund a pharmacology, physiology and biological chemistry research project titled “Structure and function of chloride channels and transporters.”
v The Iowa Department of Public Health will receive $177,952 to help fund state primary care offices.
