$723,000 to Waterloo from HUD


WASHINGTON — Senator Chuck Grassley today said that $723,000 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development was released to Waterloo through the regular appropriations process.



“These federal funds will help Waterloo redevelop areas of the city that will help create economic development and housing opportunities,” Grassley said.



The funding will be released as shown below.



• Waterloo receives $380,000 to help demolish and redevelop a blighted area.

• Waterloo receives $343,000 to help pay for the Chamberlain demolition project.
