$986,719 to Iowa State University from the National Science Foundation


WASHINGTON - Senator Chuck Grassley today said that Iowa State University has received two competitive grants totaling $986,719 from the National Science Foundation. 

 

Iowa State University will use the money as shown below.

 

·        $586,719 to help pay for a project titled, "Collaborative Research: Taming the scale explosion in nuclear structure calculations."

·        $400,000 to help pay for a project titled, "ARI-MA: Informatics Aided Design of Inorganic Scintillator Materials."
