WASHINGTON -- Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa today co-chaired a hearing on the dangers of synthetic drugs featuring testimony from Mike Rozga, the father of a young man from Indianola, Iowa, who died after taking the drug K2 last summer. Pending legislation to ban the synthetic drugs is named for 18-year-old David Rozga. The Rozga family traveled to Washington, D.C., to help spread the word about the dangers of these drugs, which many people wrongly think are harmless because of their easy availability.
