WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley said today that the Institute of Museum and Library Services is accepting grant applications for the 2010 National Leadership Grant program. The deadline for applications is February 1, 2010.
“Libraries and museums are building blocks for communities to learn and grow,” Grassley said. “Organizations interested in applying for competitive grants through this program should visit the Institute of Museum and Library Services website for more information.”
The National Leadership Grant program provides support for innovative projects that provide important research, tools and models for library and museum programs across the country.
The Institute of Museum and Library Services has scheduled three conference calls to give prospective applicants an opportunity to ask questions pertaining to the National Leadership Grants. The call will be held on the dates and times listed below.
• Wednesday, November 18, at 2 p.m. ET
• Tuesday, December 8, at 2 p.m. ET
• Thursday, January 7, at 2 p.m. ET
