WASHINGTON
– Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the Department of Health and Human Services has awarded a $149,520 grant to the University of Northern Iowa.
The Universityof Northern Iowa will use the grant funds for head start research. The grant will help pay for a project titled “Coaching and Mentoring for Preschool Quality.”
“This funding for the University of Northern Iowa’s research of head start will help keep Iowa’s children at the top in education,” Grassley said. “Iowa has a long history of academic excellence, and that starts at a young age.”
