Grassley: $571,650 to the University of Iowa for Allergy, Immunology and Transplantation Research

WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has awarded two grants totaling $571,650 to the University of Iowa.

 

The Universityof Iowa will receive a $337,500 grant to help pay for a project titled “Innate immune defense against community associated methicillin-resistant S.aureus” and a $234,150 grant to help pay for a project titled “Selection of small inhibitory molecules against filoviruses.”
