WASHINGTON- Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the National Endowment for the Humanities has awarded a $82,020 grant to Humanities Iowa in
Iowa City .
“These funds will be used to study how diversity plays a role in
Iowa life,” Grassley said.
The funds will be used by Humanities Iowa to help pay for a project titled “Exploring Ethnicity, Diversity, and Identity.” The project will examine the relevance of cultural and ethnic diversity in Iowan life and the formation of civic identity on the local, regional and national levels.
