Grassley: $94,231 to Iowa from U.S. Department of Justice


  

           WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today said that the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs has awarded a grant of $94,231 to the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy in Des Moines through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program.

 

          “The Byrne/JAG program helps support a great number of programs at the state and local level to better protect Iowa residents,” Grassley said.

 

The Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program allows states and local governments to support a broad range of activities to prevent and control crime and improve the criminal justice system.
